WHAT THE INSTALL INVOLVES

SPEAKER INSTALLATION — WHAT WE HANDLE

Component vs Coaxial

Component systems separate the tweeter and woofer for superior imaging and staging — tweeters are mounted at ear level while woofers go in the door. Coaxials combine both in one unit for simpler installs with less customization.

Door Deadening

Aftermarket speakers in untreated doors vibrate against thin metal panels, killing bass and adding rattle. We apply CLD (constrained layer damping) tiles and MLV (mass loaded vinyl) to your door cards for clean, resonance-free sound.

Crossover Placement

Component system crossovers need to be installed in accessible but protected locations — under seats or in the door pillars. We secure them properly to prevent vibration damage and ensure thermal safety.

Custom Mounting Baffles

When speaker OD doesn't match the factory cutout, we fabricate MDF or ABS baffles to ensure correct mounting depth, reduce vibration coupling, and achieve optimal cone geometry for your vehicle.

Tweeter Pod Fabrication

Surface-mount tweeters in A-pillars or dash corners require custom pods for correct imaging angles. Our fabricators create seamless, OEM-look pods using ABS and vinyl matching your interior trim.

Estimated Install Time

A front component upgrade takes 3–5 hours. Full front and rear speaker replacement with door deadening takes 6–8 hours. Custom tweeter pods with A-pillar integration add 2–4 hours per pair.
